AMD’s new 96-core monster CPU is likely to break world records

A series of leaked documents seem to confirm that AMD is planning to bring back a key consumer feature to its most advanced server processor to date, the EPYC Genoa-X.

3D V-cache debuted on the Ryzen 7 5800X3D and has now been rolled out to three more consumer-focused processors – with four 3rd generation EPYC processors also adding 768MB L3 3D cache in 2022.
