Confirmation from Poland: First Leopard 2 arrived in Ukraine – Technology Org

Poland has confirmed that a very important weapon has finally reached Ukraine: Leopard 2 main battle tanks.

This development is happening exactly 1 year into the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Polish Minister of Defense Mariusz Błaszczak officially announced today that the first Leopard 2 tanks have already been delivered to Ukraine. This news has also been confirmed by Polish Government Spokesman Piotr Müller.

Poland is committed to delivering a total of 14 units of its Leopard 2 tanks. The exact number of units included in today’s delivery was not disclosed.

Currently, Ukrainian soldiers are also attending accelerated military training courses in Poland with the aim to learn to operate Leopard 2 main battle tanks.
